History: The Tulsa Area Conservation Foundation was founded in 1997 by the Tulsa County Conservation District Board of Directors out of concern over reduced funding for key conservation projects.

   Through workshops and demonstrations, we hope not only to pass on skills to protect and manage our natural treasures but to kindle the passion to use them. Implementing conservation programs in our schools and communities is also a major part of our Conservation Stewardship goal.
